Fixed sun sail
We install our fixed shade sails with a predetermined tilt angle according to the orientation of the location, ensuring optimal shading throughout most of the day. Thanks to the micro-perforated fabric, our shade sails are rain and wind permeable, offering better resistance to wind loads and harsh weather conditions. The fabric can also be made water-resistant, protecting your terrace from both the sun and rain.
PSS Rain and Wind Permeable Shade Sail
The fixed, rain and wind permeable shade sail provides protection against the
sun, heat, and UV rays. It does not offer protection against rain but requires
minimal maintenance during the season. This is a custom-made product tailored
to specific customer requirements.
Our fixed, rain and wind permeable shade sails are installed securely according
to the location's orientation. During the design process, we determine the
ideal tilt angle to provide optimal shading for most of the day. Thanks to the
micro-perforated fabric, these sails can withstand harsher weather conditions
without issues.
In Wind and Rain
The PSS FIX shade sail systems meet the strictest safety requirements. Since
these sails are made from rain and wind permeable fabric, one of the most
typical forces acting on them—wind—cannot cause damage.
The PSS FIX shade sail system, designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 90
km/h, reliably resists the challenges posed by extreme weather conditions.
PSS Waterproof Shade Sail
The greatest advantage of the PSS FIX
waterproof shade sail, compared to the previously mentioned type, is that this
shading solution does not allow precipitation to pass through, thanks to its
double surface treatment and acrylic coating. It is possible to direct
rainwater to a specific point. Because this type does not allow water—or
wind—to pass through, it is primarily recommended for areas with low wind
exposure. We recommend PSS FIX waterproof shade sails for areas with wind
speeds not exceeding 40 km/h.
Since wind is the only challenge for this type, it can also be requested in a
removable version. In this case, the posts are equipped with heavy-duty
pulleys, and the sail is fitted with carabiners, making it possible to quickly
raise the sail.
Shade Sail Support Structure
The support structure can be made in three qualities.
Even the smallest fasteners are made from high-quality, stainless steel. The
stable construction, made from long-lasting noble materials, gives the PSS
shade sails a sleek and elegant appearance.
Additionally, there is the option to manufacture the support elements from
carbon steel, which are surface treated through powder coating. This allows for
the production of support structures in different colours. The structure can
also be replaced with galvanized posts if the customer insists on a natural
finish.
Colour Selection
For the waterproof shade sails, we use the same material applied in motorized
shade sails, which, due to its weaving technology, is very robust and has
exceptional tensile strength in its category. Instead of webbing, the corners
of the sails are reinforced with grommet ropes, a technique also used in tarpaulin
manufacturing, with double fabric reinforcement at the corners
