Motorized sun sail
The PSS motorized sun sails are powered by a high-torque tubular motor positioned along a transverse axis. Operation is controlled via a remote, which allows the sun sail to be easily extended or retracted. The time to extend or retract our motorized sun sails typically takes between 10-30 seconds, depending on the size.
An additional advantage is that the sun sail can be stopped at any point, so if you do not want to shade a particular area, you can simply stop the sail at the desired position. Furthermore, opening and closing commands can even be executed via your phone, no matter where you are in the world, as the system is compatible with smart home technology.
Custom Size and Design
Each of our sun sails is custom-sized, making them suitable for any area, whether it's a rooftop terrace, balcony, or garden patio. We tailor your shading solution entirely to your needs. For motorized sun sails, the size can reach up to 110 m². For larger areas, shading can be achieved by connecting multiple sun sails.
For retractable sun sails, PSS sun sail-compatible accessories are available, such as mood lighting, to enhance your outdoor experience.

Our sun sails are made from high-quality Austrian fabric, ensuring long-lasting durability. The material is treated multiple times and coated with acrylic, making it resistant to up to 370 mm of water pressure. Thanks to the design of the shading system, rainwater can be directed to one or even two points.

Complete Protection in Bad Weather
Every PSS motorized sun sail comes with a wind sensor as standard equipment. You don't have to worry if you accidentally leave your shade open, as it will automatically retract if necessary. The wind sensor is set by default to trigger retraction at 40 km/h wind speed, which corresponds to a first-level weather warning in our country.

Our motorized sun sails are made from 100% stainless steel materials, from the posts to the smallest screws, ensuring high quality and long-lasting durability. All supporting structures are made from brushed stainless steel, but upon request, they can be finished with a mirror-polish surface or powder-coated in any RAL colour. The sturdy construction made from noble materials gives PSS sun sails a sleek, elegant appearance.
AUTOMATIC Sun Sail - Control Your Shade from Your Phone
The basic system, which includes a remote control and a wind sensor, can be expanded with additional features according to your preferences. You can connect rain, wind, temperature, or even sunlight sensors to the sun sail. With these combined, you can create an automated shading system that opens in the sun and closes in response to wind or rain.
By adjusting the rain sensor to a comfort level, the sun sail can automatically open when rain is detected. Every PSS motorized sun sail can be further expanded, even at a later time, with a smart home hub or additional sensors. By connecting the device to the internet (via Wi-Fi), the sun sail can be controlled from your mobile phone or tablet.
Manually Retractable Sun Sail
Our retractable sun sails also offer advantages over traditional mass-produced products, features that are essential in today's modern world, such as adjustable height and tilt angles. Thanks to the furling technology, the PSS sun sail is easy to use and adjust, with its tilt angle following the sun's path throughout the day. This way, you can enjoy the pleasant shade provided by the PSS sun sail all day, or, if you prefer, sunbathe under the perfectly adjusted sail.
Adjustable Height, Tilt Angle, and Retractable Sail
The height and tilt angle of the PSS sun sail system can be easily adjusted at any time using a special component known as a stirrup. This reliable and effective method is the result of years of development based on extensive experience.
With this system, PSS sun sails provide the most efficient protection against the sun's rays. The furling technology, already proven in sailing, makes it easy and convenient to retract and extend the sail. This method not only allows for more effective regulation of shading intensity but also eliminates the additional work involved in setting up and taking down the sail.
In case of a larger storm or if you're away for an extended period, such as during a vacation, it's enough to simply furl the sun sail.
Can Be Retracted at Any Time
Unlike the PSS motorized sun sail, this type doesn't require electricity to operate. The sun sail can be easily retracted manually, so there's no need to worry about disassembly during storms, the onset of winter, or extended absences. Simply wind the sail onto the axis, and it can be stored in a simple, practical way.
High-Quality Materials
The supporting structure and even the smallest fasteners are made from high-quality brushed stainless steel. The stable construction, crafted from durable noble materials, gives the PSS sun sails a sleek and elegant appearance.
The PSS Sun Sail fabric is made from the excellent SATTLER® sun sail canvas, custom-sized. SATTLER® fabric undergoes a double surface treatment and Teflon impregnation, making it exceptionally durable. Due to its high tensile strength, it doesn't stretch despite strong forces, maintaining its shape. Thanks to the impregnation, the fabric is water-repellent, blocks harmful UV rays from the sun, and reflects much of the heat.
For custom requirements, the manual sun sail fabric can be replaced with the mesh HDPE material used in fixed sun sails.
